On 3rd April 2026, 83rd Birth Anniversary of well-known Hindi playwright Rameshwar Prem, a book on most famous plays was inaugurated at his residence. The book was jointly inaugurated by Prof. Devendra Raj Ankur, Amitabh Srivastav, Suresh Sharma, Mahesh Anand, Ved Kumar Sharma, Amitabh Rai, Neeraj, Tanuja Prasad, Ranjita Bhattacharya, Rahul Chaudhury and Usha Chaudhury. The book nests 11 famous plays and one monologue which was read but not performed yet.
Opening articles were written by Prof. Devendra Raj Ankur and Doctor Girish Rastogi. The book comprises of Ajat Ghar, Raja Nanga Hai, Camp, Bazi, Sahstra Santan, Jal Damru Baaje, Suprimo, Kaal Patra, Kuntha, Antarang, Charpai and Main Shabri.
All of these plays are iconic plays and had been Directed by famous directors like Manohar Singh, B.V. Karanth, Ram Gopal Bajaj, Bansi Kaul, Robin Das, Alakhnandan, Surendra Sharma, Ashok Sagar Bhagat, Sachin Tiwari, Amitabh Das Gupta, Sunderlal Chabra, Satyabrata Rout, Prakash Jha, Baba DK, Y G Joglekar etc etc.
